Each member has been accepted by the State Association and has agreed to a code of ethics as adopted by the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants. In addition, those who are part of NICCA maintain familiarity with the current federal, state and local regulations for your protection.

Independent Crop Consultant Membership

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree in an agricultural field with at least two years full time consulting experience OR
  • 2 year college degree in an agricultural field with at least four years full time consulting experience
  • Derive their primary livelihood from fees paid by farmers that employ them
  • 3 Client References

Benefits:

  • Has voting power in NICCA
  • Has the privilege of serving as an officer, executive board member, or a committee member
  • Will be listed in the Association roster.

Associate Membership

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree in an agricultural field with less than two years full time consulting experience  OR
  • 2 year college degree in an agricultural field with less than four years full time consulting experience
  • Must be employed as a crop consultant
  • 3 Client References

  • Has the privilege of serving as a committee member
  • Will be listed in the Association roster.

Commercial Crop Consultant Membership

Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree in an agricultural field with at least two years full time consulting experience OR
  • 2 year college degree in an agricultural field with at least four years full time consulting experience
  • Derive their primary livelihood from fees paid by farmers that employ them
  • 3 Client References
  • Can sell agricultural inputs for profits

Benefits:

  • Has voting power in NICCA
  • Has the privilege of serving as an officer(with the exception of president), executive board member, or a committee member
  • Will be listed in the Association roster.

Allied Membership

$65

Requirements:

  • Organization that sells a product or service
  • Not engaged in the profession of crop consulting
